Terms of service

The rules for using Bidvork. By creating an account or using the extension, you agree to them.
What Bidvork does
Bidvork is a Chrome extension and website for freelancers who use Upwork. It scores the job you have open against your profile and drafts a proposal for you to review. It writes drafts; you decide what to send.
Bidvork is an independent product. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork, and Upwork is a trademark of its owner.
You stay in control
- Bidvork only acts when you click. It never submits a proposal, never applies to jobs in bulk, and never answers screening questions or touches other Upwork fields.
- "Insert & review" puts a draft into the proposal box for you to edit. Submitting is always yours to do.
- Drafts can contain mistakes. Read and edit every draft before you send it; you're responsible for what you send.
- Drafts should only describe work you've really done. Keep your profile accurate, and don't use Bidvork to misrepresent your skills or experience.
Upwork's rules still apply
You're responsible for following Upwork's own terms when you use Bidvork. Upwork says that browser extensions which read or change its pages can trigger a warning, restriction or block on your Upwork account, and it decides how it enforces that. Bidvork is designed to stay well clear of automation (it reads only the page you open and acts only on your click), but we can't promise how Upwork will treat any extension, and we aren't responsible for actions Upwork takes on your account.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and give a real email address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account.
AI modes, credits and payments
- Lowkey runs on your device and is free.
- Rizz (a limited beta; access is by invitation from the waitlist) runs on our servers and uses credits: one credit per score or draft, with 5 free credits each calendar month that don't carry over. Purchased credits don't expire. Rizz is offered as-is during the beta, without an uptime guarantee; a request that fails doesn't use a credit.
- Your Plug (coming soon) uses your own API key or model server; your provider's terms and charges apply to it.
- Paid credits aren't on sale yet. When they are, prices will be shown before you pay, and refunds follow our refund policy.
Fair use
Don't misuse Bidvork: no attempts to break or overload it, no reselling access, no automated sign-ups, and nothing illegal. We may limit or close accounts that do.
Your content
Your profile, job history and drafts are yours. You let us store and process them only to run Bidvork for you, as described in our privacy policy.
No guarantees
Bidvork helps you decide and write faster; it doesn't guarantee you'll win any job. The service is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost work or lost earnings. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ending things
You can stop using Bidvork and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close one without cause, we'll refund unused purchased credits.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect. Using Bidvork after that means you accept the new terms.
